RAMADHAN ZULFIKAR

What does AIESEC program give you?
The experiences I´ve got are mostly about leadership and my presentation is about challenging environment and changing yourself for better, so basically we do not get any money for this but we get experience which helps to develop ourselves. One step we want to improve is leadership, because back in Indonesia it is hard to improve these skills because everyone is like the same, it is not that common in Indonesia to have foreigner, but with this we can actually open our eyes.
What are your life goals?
What I want in my life, let´s say in 5 years, is to get my master degree in University of Criminal Law. After that I will take specialization for anticorruption. Some ultimate goals – I want to become a lector and own a restaurant because I like to cook.
Did you have some bad experience in Slovakia?
In Slovakia so far so good, maybe in previous school children were not really talkative but basically it is all good.
What do you do in free time? Some hobbies?
In Indonesia I use to travel, cook, take pictures and make some amateur videos. For sport I attend judo club and on academy we make simulations of court room, someone act as offender, some are lawyers, some judge.
You´ve got lot of stuff to do!
I don´t like being bored so I try to find lot of activities.
Which places have you visited and are your favourite?
Favourite so far are High Tatras, like we can do some sliding on ice because u know, it´s hard me to find snow and ice. Sometimes I get very cold but that´s nice.
Is it the 1st time you experience snow?
Yeah, it is my 1st time and I like it so much.

What do you like about Slovakia and what are differences between your country and ours?
I like snow and castles because in my country there are no castles and I have never seen snow before. I dream to live in castle so this is my favourite part.
Do you feel good in our school and Slovakia in general?
I think yes, I learned a lot about Slovakia and I saw gypsies and they are really from Indians. I did not know about this.
Well, have you learnt some Slovak words?
A little of alphabet and the phrase Milujem Slovensko, also some greetings like Ahoj and ďakujem.
What about Slovak food?
In my host family I ate dumplings (halušky) with cheese and also pirohy with potato filling. These are my favourite. I heard it´s your national food and you can be proud of it.
What does AIESEC give you?
I´m not really AIESEC-er but I think in last project I learned a lot how to express my opinions and improved my English because I was not so good in it before and I´m afraid to stay in front of the class so I keep trying.
Do you have some hobbies? Do you study?
I study drama and I like hip-hop so I often listen to music. Oh and I like horror fiction, like ghosts and stuff. Sometimes I like to play badminton and I´m learning to play piano now.
